Greetings, ladies.
Sorry for the delay! Not only are Natalie and I your friendly neighborhood style bloggers, but we're also college students with finals coming up. Excuses, excuses I know! But I speak for myself when I say, it's been tough to be fabulous this past week. I've been sick in bed despite the beautiful weather we've had here lately. So, while I was on this unwanted break I spent a lot of time watching old musicals and I was inspired by everyone's favorite 1950s era tribute to the good old days...Grease! By far my favorite character is Betty Rizzo, she's a spunky fiery gal who can put together a trendy outfit. Even by today's standards she'd still be considered a fashionista. Now her outfit of choice is an all black ensemble: a fitted, short sleeved, black button down, black pencil skirt, a cinch at the waist, a black clutch, but a pop of color with her bright red round toe ballet flats with a bright red lip to match. A woman that takes after my own heart! Her style is truly effortless.
My favorite representation of her classic style is Modcloth.com's Soda Fountain Dress. The dress comes in three beautiful colors: Ginger, Grape and the Rizzo classic.. Cola
